Our take
Moore's lists Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir and White Pine as its 2026 tree types. Its hours page says sales start the Friday after Thanksgiving, with full days through opening weekend, short 3:00pm to 5:00pm windows Mon - Fri in December, full days Sat & Sun, and a last day of the season that closes at 3:00pm; the page doesn't print a year beside those hours. Every tree is priced individually by height, with separate ranges for White Pine and for the firs, including a limited set of extra tall firs for outdoor or lofted ceilings, and the farm recommends calling ahead for those because they're in short supply. Saws, tree sleds and twine are free, and so are shaking, baling and drilling. The farm's home page also announces a celebration with food trucks, a scavenger hunt, Highland cows, alpacas and a special Santa visit, without printing a year. Plan a weekend visit if you want daylight in the field, and call ahead about a tall fir.
