Fly-A-Way Farm

Our take
Fly-A-Way's 2026 season is two December dates only, from 9 am until dusk, by the farm's own notice. Its services page says it only accepts cash and checks, so bring one of those. A visit follows a set routine: walk or hitch a tractor ride into the fields, cut your tree with one of the farm's provided saws, then hitch a hayride up to Santa's Shack, where the tree is shaken and bailed for free. While that happens, there is complimentary hot chocolate and homemade sugar cookies at the front of the house. Leashed dogs are welcome and get a treat of their own. The farm grows three types of trees, white pine, scotch pine and canaan fir, and its tree page gives a price per foot for the canaan firs and the scotch pines without printing a year. It also sells roping and tree stands. With only two dates to choose from, settle the date first, and leave time before dusk to walk the field.
Written by us from the farm's own words quoted below. It adds nothing they don't say.

Every detail here is quoted word for word from the farm's own website, with the page and the date we fetched it. Details the farm hasn't posted aren't shown. A detail is marked 2026 only when the farm's own words print that year.
