Cut Your Own Tree

Our take

Cackler encourages a reservation for the 2026 holiday season to help it ensure optimal service, so booking a time is the sensible first step. Its posted hours open on a Wednesday marked as opening day, then run full days from Friday to Sunday, then 1pm to 5pm on Wednesday to Friday with full Saturdays and Sundays, ending on a Saturday marked as the last day open; the page doesn't print a year beside those hours. Trees are priced by species and by the foot up to 9 feet tall, and trees 10 feet tall and over have their own per-foot price. The selection is Canaan, Concolor and Fraser Fir, Blue and Norway Spruce, and White Pine. The farm provides saws and tree sleds for cutting your own and does not permit gas-powered saws. Leashed pets are welcome. Treats are on site from Dan's Deli, and the farm's custom wreaths, made from its own fresh greens, sell out fast. Book a time, then check the hours list for your day.
