Carl & Dorothy Young's Christmas Tree Farm
Choose and cut, plus pre-cut · Southwest Ohio
Our take
Carl & Dorothy Young's requires a reservation for every customer who wants to cut a tree in 2026, and its booking page lets you reserve up to four appointments at a time, with a nonrefundable reservation fee per tree. The posted hours on the farm's site are for the gift shop and pre-cut trees rather than for cutting, and the page doesn't print a year beside them. Cut-your-own trees are tagged with their price, starting at a set amount, with Canaan and Concolor Fir costing more as they get taller. The farm supplies a saw and a sled, shakes and wraps every tree and will even tie it on your car. The gift shop offers complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn, plus stands, decorations, roping and wreaths while supplies last. The farm grows Canaan Fir, Concolor Fir, Norway Spruce and White Pine. Dogs must stay leashed and aren't allowed in the gift shop.

Every detail here is quoted word for word from the farm's own website, with the page and the date we fetched it. Details the farm hasn't posted aren't shown. A detail is marked 2026 only when the farm's own words print that year.
